December 12, 2011 — LaRee McCuan, MSW has joined Junior Achievement of Central Maryland as director of education and outreach. She also serves as a liaison with higher education institutions and represents Junior Achievement on a broad range of coalitions and provider networks. Most recently, she managed United Way Youth Ventures, a regional youth engagement program of the United Way of Central Maryland’s Impact Strategies Division. She currently serves as a Riverside Neighborhood Association executive board member overseeing communications, and as a Mid-Atlantic Pug Rescue outreach coordinator. She previously held memberships in Welfare Advocates, Maryland Alliance for the Poor, and Energy Advocates, and served as a student liaison to the University of Maryland School of Social Work Faculty Field Placement Committee. Junior Achievement of Central Maryland is dedicated to inspiring and preparing young people to succeed in a global economy.
